Ingredients

  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 to 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Instructions

  • In a 6-quart slow cooker, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, chicken broth (if using), salt, and pepper until well combined. The mixture should be smooth and free of lumps.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, ensuring they are fully submerged in the sauce for even cooking.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to Low. Cook for 4 hours or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  • Once cooked, carefully shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks or a hand mixer set to low speed. Stir the shredded chicken into the gravy to coat it evenly.
  • Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
